The LT McGuinness submission for seismic strengthening of St Mary’s of the Angels Church in Wellington received a commendation in the Monte Craven Architectural Building category. BBR Contech carried out FRP strengthening work on selected concrete elements.

Also recognised was the Dominion Constructors entry for the University of Canterbury Structural Engineering Laboratory in the Commercial/Industrial building category. BBR Contech supplied Macalloy bars and accessories in the floor and walls and installed some large horizontal PT tendons in the walls.
