Derek Bilby has been appointed to the new position of General Manager effective 3 July 2017 and will be based in the Auckland office. This appointment represents our commitment to succession planning and to provide a robust management platform to support the future growth and development of the business.

Derek comes from a specialist construction background and we are pleased to be able to tap into his existing knowledge of specialist contracting and his broad understanding of the construction industry. We are delighted that he has joined us and will continue to build on the legacy of this company with a proud history of servicing the New Zealand construction industry for nearly 55 years.

This appointment is a new position and Derek will work alongside Paul Wymer who remains CEO and Managing Director. Derek will take over the general management of the company operations and Paul will direct his focus to strategy, governance and some new BBR Contech business ventures.
