The Company
In New Zealand the foundation company of Contech was BBR New Zealand Ltd, established in 1963. Since that time, other associate companies have been incorporated and merged with. In addition, specialist companies have been acquired, and the Group, as we see it today, is the result of a merging of all of these companies. BBR Contech is an active member of the international BBR Network and works in close collaboration with other members in some 47 countries to further develop its resources and expertise in post-tensioning technology, ground anchoring, construction engineering and maintenance, repair and retrofit of structures.

Contech is the leading and oldest specialist civil engineering company in New Zealand and is well known for its abilities in many disciplines. Contech has won many awards in concrete related fields with respect to its innovation and excellence in both new construction and remedial engineering.
